My name is Madison Alexis, and I'm a recent graduate from Arizona State University. A couple of months back I decided to create my own company based on my love of video editing and travel. I wanted to be able to make video memories for other people as well as myself and established a website and Instagram page to reach out to customers. It was hardly a success because I didn't know exactly how to market my business or grow a brand. I also knew that I was passionate about way more than what I had been putting out there with my small company.

I've always been interested in reading and writing and I spend a lot of my time just writing little notes in my iPhone or in journals about things that inspire me or things that I want to go deeper into later. My faith has been something that has pushed me to share some of these things on my personal social media pages and made me feel comfortable enough to put out some of my thoughts and feelings about certain topics. But let's be honest, who wants to read this long of an Instagram caption? Not me. 🙅🏼

I went back and forth with the thought of writing a book, starting a YouTube channel, or just keeping my thoughts to myself and leaving it at that. After all, it's truly truly terrifying to share your thoughts and ideas with complete strangers on the internet.

Eventually, I decided on the idea to make a blog based solely on whatever it was that I wanted to publish and share. I wanted to incorporate a little bit of everything and allow myself to grow as this blog goes on. I didn't want to set any boundaries or specifically be a fitness, fashion, or foodie type blog. I want to talk about anything and everything in between; every little thing that life has to offer because there's just way too much that I'm passionate about to narrow it down like that. I also wanted to allow it to remain new and exciting and I feel like that's just much easier to accomplish when you don't have rules to follow am I right?

The only thing that I knew for sure I wanted this blog to be based on was my faith and God's constant presence in my life. Everything that I know and every opportunity that I've been given comes from Him and I want to inspire others to keep this realization close to their hearts as well. My spiritual journey is something that never ends and I'm constantly learning more as I go, and it's something that I love to talk about and discuss. It's the main focus in my life and I hope that I can continue to connect to others in this way through the start of this blog.  My tagline is "Style and Grace" because I hope to inspire people to live with both. In a world filled with social media and trying to always portray our lives as cooler and more gratifying than somebody else's, I wanted this blog to be a place of raw, heartfelt, and relatable messages. Nobody's life is perfect and we're all just trying to make the most of it as we go so let's just be real and encourage one another to just be the very best versions of ourselves!

I know that blogs are, for the most part, strictly opinion based so I want to just throw a disclaimer out there that not everything I write is going to be factual. I write about things that inspire me and realizations that I make throughout my days and things that I just think other people might be able to relate to or want to hear about. I think it's great that we live in a world where we can so freely discuss things that are important and interesting to us and be able to talk about things with just about anyone. It's amazing how much you'll find you can relate to someone on just by being human 😂

Anyways, I hope this wasn't too boring of an intro and I was able to start this thing off right. I'm so ridiculously new to this sort of thing so you're gonna have to bare with me for a while until I can get a better grip on how this stuff works. Eventually I'll have more of a structure and plan for when I post certain things. I also plan on keeping a tab on this site just for videos of adventures that I take throughout my life because I plan on making a lot more in the future and it just makes me really happy to do so. Thank you for reading and I really hope that if anything you'll be able to get some happiness and inspiration from my posts! :)
